Hargraves Beach house is the undisputed No.1 holiday rental property North of the Entrance and South of Swansea, Newcastle. We are located on Elizabeth Drive, the only beach fronted street, on the upper NSW Central Coast of Australia - 60 mins North from Hornsby Sydney, 75 mins East of Singleton, 30 mins South of Newcastle and 45 mins from the Hunter Valley. We are perched on the high side of the street with spectacular panoramic ocean and coastal views from most parts of the house including the incredible 47 metre long wrap-around deck and the outside heated Spa.
Our ground floor area is twice the size of an average house and offers completely private and self - contained accommodation with 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms for 12 guests. Beach access is opposite the house leading to a sheltered, family-friendly beach. Hargraves Beach is protected by a reef creating calm conditions, ideal for children. There are also patrolled surf beaches a short distance away at Lakes Beach and Soldiers Beach. Nearby Cabbage Tree Harbour has a tidal rock pool and small sheltered beach suitable for young children.
Jenny Dixon Beach, Park and Picnic (BBQ's) area is 5 minutes walking distance.
Lake Macquarie, Budgewoi Lake & Tuggerah Lake are nearby and are ideal for water sports and fishing. There are also cycle and walking paths along almost the entire sections of these lakes.
Hargraves Beach is popular for beach fishing year round and the large rock platform below Norah Head Lighthouse is also a popular spot. Cabbage Tree Harbour has a boat ramp for access to the ocean and there are boat ramps to the lakes; the closest being to Budgewoi Lake from Slade Park on the southern side of Budgewoi Bridge - 4km from the house.

A large range of local shops (including Coles and Aldi supermarkets) are five minutes drive away at Toukley and Budgewoi. The Toukley markets are on each Sunday and the Farmers market at The Entrance is every first and third Saturday of the month.
Both Toukley and Budgewoi have a variety of restaurants, cafes and clubs.
